SUNDAY SESSIONS IN OT 301, Amsterdam 
EVERY SUNDAY 18.30-20.30

Sunday sessions (formally Thursday sessions) was created in 2014. The sessions are aimed for performance artists, singers, dancers, actors and musicians who are seeking a platform for placing  ideas into a practice and who have an interest to do multidisciplinary compositions for performances. Artists who attend are living in Amsterdam or are traveling through the city.
Sunday Sessions are not a workshops or a jams. It is a place for artist to gather, discuss and practice real time performance with an aim to perform in confrontation with public’s. It is a platform created to celebrate and support experimental, multidisciplinary performance art practices.
The sessions are chaired by Katie Duck, when she is not on tour, and then by colleague artists in the Amsterdam community. The participants conduct a one hour improvisation based on what ever discussions arise. The sessions are held in the bodlabot space in the OT301 building first floor at 18:30 to 20:30. This space has a new wood floor but it is quite small.

TUESDAY WORKSHOP SERIES IN OT 301, Amsterdam
EVERY TUESDAY 19.30-21.30
This workshop series has been created in response to artists who have requested to have on-going classes based on the role improvisation plays in performance and/or composition studies in a multi disciplinary format. The workshop series is aimed towards all levels of musicians, dancers, actors, singers and performance artist. Workshops are 2 hours, held one time per week on Tuesdays evenings. Some of the workshops are with teacher/artists for one Tuesday. Other workshops are with teacher/artists for two Tuesdays in a row.

The improvisation Summer Intensive has been an annual event in Amsterdam since 2009 (Archive 2009 to 2018). 

We accept participants from all backgrounds, ages, nationality, orientations and experiences who have a curiosity for interdisciplinary art practices, collaboration and composition in the context of real time performance. 

The support group for the Summer Intensive are interdisciplinary Amsterdam based artists who meet throughout the year in sessions, workshops and performances at the OT301 Cultural Centre. We gather international artists at the OT301 in Amsterdam to experiment and find solutions to survive the international trends that institutionalise and alienate creativity in art.
The Programs towards Performances contains workshops and sessions in the mornings and afternoons alongside rehearsals in the evenings towards weekend performances. You can register for this Program one, two or three weeks.

If you do not wish to be involved in the program towards performances, you can register for Movement and/or Interdisciplinary Workshops separately for days or weeks at a time.

Music Dance Performance Series is an artist run project that presents interdisciplinary performance works in Amsterdam. It takes place at cultural centre OT301 as its main base as well as other Amsterdam venues.

This Series, stemming from the project MD301 (Music Dance 301)  was created in direct response to a need for public and artists to re-consider and re-present interdisciplinary performance within a contemporary context. The series presents improvised performance with an explicit choreographic/composition approach as well as set works that have as main focus the interdisciplinary interaction of movement, sound and lights______________________________
THE WARP 
AUDIO VISUAL SPATIAL PERFORMANCES IN KUNSTKAPEL
Prinses Irenestraat 19 / 1077 WT Amsterdam
The Warp brings shape shifting immersive performances in the unique 360 degree curved space of the original Sint NicolaasKapel on the edge of the Beatrixpark behind the RAI. The Warp will present works uniquely created or redesigned for this dynamic space, in order to continue its researches into a new proposed genre of work: the AudioVisualSpatial, in which each of these aspects has equal significance in any given project.

 Each weekend will provide a completely different program that will emphasize the broad spectrum of work that falls under the rubric of AudioVisualSpatial. Work that straddles the worlds of art, light, sound, music, dance, drama, architecture and literature will be found, as well as some projects which might defy category altogether.
The Warp: AudioVisualSpatial is presented by C. L. O. U. D. (Consequential Laboratory of Unspecified Dimensions).

CHI KUNG CLASSES  IN OT 301, Amsterdam
EVERY TUESDAY 18.00-19.30


Chi Kung is an ancient art used in martial art and for health. Chi Kung means ‘cultivation of energy’, ‘cultivation of life vitality’ – discipline, which offers a complete palette of body-mind exercises, based on grounding, balance and internal support. Zhan Zhuang Chi Kung, known as an ‘ancient art of recharging your batteries’ introduces practitioners to the standing postures, which are at the core of the training. We practice also sitting and lying down Chi Kung, giving the possibility to train any time of the day.

The classes are taking place in Bodlabot Studio (first floor) in Overtoom 301 (OT 301).
